Hey, I’m Eric.
If you landed here, you probably saw one of my YouTube videos and wanted to check out the training guides I’ve put together. You can find them [here] or in the menu above.
But honestly… you’re probably here because you want to know what My Endurance Life is all about — and maybe why it feels a little different than everything else out there.
Here’s the truth:
If medals, buckles, and PRs are your main motivation, this might not be your place. Don’t get me wrong — those are awesome goals, and I encourage every runner in our community to chase them.
But for me, and for most of the people who find their way here, there’s something deeper going on. We’re the kind of people who started running ultras just to see if we could do it… and along the way realized this sport exposes who we really are — our weaknesses, our grit, and the parts of us that need work.
That’s what My Endurance Life is built around.
It’s for the person who knows deep down they can do more, but just needs help connecting the dots. For the mom or dad who’s stretched thin but still feels that pull to test themselves. For the person who’s failed before — maybe DNF’d — but not ready to quit!
Every finish line teaches us something about who we are.
Every setback shapes us into who we’re meant to become — if we don’t give up.
So where do you start?
You’ll find links to all of those above or in the menu.
No matter where you start, remember this — it’s not about being the fastest. It’s about becoming the person who refuses to quit.
That’s what it means to Rethink Possible with My Endurance Life.
Talk soon,
— Eric

Founder: My Endurance Life
So, if you scrolled this far, here's the cliff notes of my journey.
I grew up playing baseball. The only running I did was a punishment for striking out, showing up late to practice or just because our coach was in a bad mood.... I'm sure someone who's reading this can relate.
So, the fact that I actually ENJOY this sport is a miracle!
In 2010 my wife and I had started our family. Our daughter 4 and our son 2.
My wife was trying everything to lose those last little nagging pounds of baby weight (only which she could see of course) so we decided to run a half marathon.
A few months later, mission accomplished, and we thought that that was the hardest thing EVER!!!
We didn't sign up for any other races but always seemed to rely on jogging as a way to stay in shape.
Fast forward: Now our daughter is in 7th grade, through a program at her school SRLA, a group of volunteer teachers and parents train and run the LA Marathon with a group of dedicated students.
I promised my daughter her 8th grade year that I would run it with her.... And kinda fell in love with long distance running.
I'm fortunate enough to have access to trails 5 minutes from my house. I started running and training on them.
Ran a trail half marathon and LOVED it!
Goodbye Roads.
Put together my own 50K in which my wife and kids were aid stations and ran my first 50K in those same trails by our house for no medal, but just to see if I could do it.
and Now.... I've ran everything from short trail races to 100 Miles.
It's changed me in more ways than I can express.
And I hope to share my passion and everything I've learned with you.
