ABOUT ME:

Oh Man.... Where do I start?

For one, I feel kinda wierd talking about myself.

Running or Training I'll talk your ear off! But me.... not my favorite subject.

But I'll do me best since you took the time to scroll all the way down here.

Growing up running was a punishment at baseball practice. The only time I kinda enjoyed it was for physical testing in PE.

The fact that I enjoy it so much now is a really neat story.

In fact it wasn't even me who wanted to start running.

I owe it to my wife.

In 2010 after having our second child she was struggling to lose the last little bit of baby weight.

(for the record I couldn't tell, but you know how women are)

So we decided to train together and run a half marathon.

With two goals in mind.

We train and run every step together.

and

We wanted to run all 13.1 miles without walking.

Granted youth was still on ourside with us both being in our 20's

To date I have still never been more sore after a race than that first one!

Even after a 100 miler!

Fast forward a few years.....

Our daughter now in middle school fell in love with running and wanted to run a marathon.

And that's what we did!

For 6 months I got to run with my 13 year old daughter.

And this is where I found my ture love of running.

I learned so much from watching her, and talking to her. Encouraging each other when we needed it, pushing and striving to find our limits.

Fast forward another couple years.....

After the Marathon I found trail running, and it changed me forever.

No longer was it about going fast and trying to PR, but it became about testing myself physically, mentally and boy did I find out.... spiritually.

I have an addicitvie personality and I like being good at things.

Sports have come naturally to me.

BUT RUNNING.... NOT!!

This is why the deeper and deeper I get into the sport of ULTRA Running the more and more I love it.

It's kinda like a marraige.

You think you have it figured out and then boom!

It throws you a curve ball.

If you're not working at it, all your previous work will unravel.

I've run all of the standard ULTRA distances from 50K - 100Mi

My family is my heartbeat.

Even though they may not share the same passion for the distances I run, they support me.

From pacing, to cheering, to my wife being my crew chief.

She even crewed me SOLO for the Stagecoach 100

A point to point race from Flagstaff AZ to the Grand Canyon!

  • Am I guaranteed to run a half marathon without walking?

The training guides are set up for your success. However, this is not a 1 on 1 coaching platform so we can't guarantee you will run all 13.1 miles without walking.

However!

The feedback we get is phenomenal, but ultimately it comes down to your personal commitment, consistency, and overall fitness level. Which is why we provide the pre training guide for FREE to better you chance of running a Half Marathon without walking!

  • How many weeks are the training guides?

Each training guide is a 12-week guide.

They are also built to complement each other.

Example: The half marathon guide flows directly into the marathon guide. If you choose to keep progressing your training, you can be ready to run a marathon in as little as 24 weeks!

  • What if I unable to continue my training will I lose access to the videos?

No! That's the great thing about the

My Endurance Life Team Guides.

Once you have them, there yours, Forever!

We understand "Life happens."

If you take a break you can start over or continue where you left off. (Fitness level permitting of course)
